Pack Divided
Have you ever had a huge fear that your luggage would not show up at your destination? You have a family of 6 and a 2 week vacation in Jamaica, and you can’t imagine your luggage not hitting the conveyer belt at baggage pick up. You wake up in a sweat the night before thinking, “I can’t imagine standing and watching the last bags coming off the conveyer belt and ours not being there.” Decide today on the Divide it up rule.
What is the Divide it up Rule?
Whether you are traveling with your spouse or a good friend, or with your family of 6, divide your clothes evenly between all of the suitcases. A little underwear here, and a little underwear there. This doesn’t mean to just half hazardly throw a few things in different bags, make it organized.
Lay your clothes in groups. Outfits. Sleepwear. Underwear, socks, etc. Then divide them out between the bags. Make sure you have a full “something” in each bag. When only 2 of your 4 bags arrive in Ethiopia, where the shopping is slim, you will be glad you did!
When you arrive at your destination, it is easy to unpack and organize your things at your hotel.
Try using the Divide it up Rule. The one time your suitcase does not arrive will be the time that you wish you had!
